About us

The School is housed in the Aronoff Center for Design and Art, a 164,000-square-foot addition, which opened in 1996 and linked together the previously existing Alms, SHYEC and Wolfson buildings. Designed by renowned architect Peter Eisenman, the Aronoff Center has generated much national and international critical attention. The expanded facility has enabled all of our programs to be housed together under one roof for the first time in our over 75-year history. Many of the School’s classrooms are equipped with state-of-the-art video projection systems. In addition to studios, workshops, laboratories, lecture and seminar rooms, the School has a number of specialized facilities which support its programs. Among these are:
